Where can I find illustrated Bible stories for children with related activities and lessons that apply the story to life.
i found some good websites but most, i need to pay for and I dont have any money.
Does anybody know where I can find websites like these?
why dont you try making up your own activity?
arts and craft ideas are always fun…what if you like cut out some black and white pictures of animals, had the kids color them in and glue them onto a big arc made of brown construction paper. than you could talk about Noah’s ark, while they do it.

ain’t ever gonna happen ! We are in bed with China no matter what people say or think ! Our leaders have seen fit to tangle us up around the Chinese so deep in business and international affairs that untangling it without serious reprocussions would be impossible !!
This recent run of "stuff" that is faulty and dangerous is but one in a long string of things that have hit us from that point on the globe within the last six years !! And, it is not going to change for the exact reasons that I have pointed out here earlier !!
What a great deal of people DON’T know — is that by way of subcontracting "deals" — China has been the provider for a great number of "controller chips" that have found their way into a great number of American military hardware devices — such as fighter aircraft and missiles !!!!!! Go to bed at night with THAT on your mind and see if you can sleep comfortably !!! There has even been some concern of late at high levels (but has gone completely unreported) that there is a distinct possiblity that some of these (if not all) could possibly be encoded to fail if triggered by a certain broadcast signal !!! In other words — rendering our "mighty military might" totally useless !!! NOW< HOW YOU GONNA SLEEP ????
In the Run Up to get "business" accomplished — our airheaded "leaders" have put us into a place, yet again where the entire security and well-being of the nation has been sacrificed for the well-being and security of the Wal-Marts of the world !!!!!!!

Im writeing a paper for my child development class and we have to write it on a good educational toy/game for toodlers and preschoolers. I was wondering what are some toys/games i could write my paper on?
webkinz? teaches them how to make money/ feed there pets and decorate there house / buy stuff
i know i would have to get certified in cpr/first aid but will a certification in Early Childhood Education let me work with another teacher in a preschool? or do i absolutely HAVE to get a associates degree to even work there?
there are a ton of places that will hire you with the certification. if you get a degree your pay may go up. this would only be private preschools…if you want to teach in a public pre-K program, you will need a degree.
I had an idea for a children’s storybook and I was thinking of making the main character a porcupine. Has this been done too often? I do remember some old Mercer Meyer books that featured porcupines, so would it be overkill to add another porcupine character to the world of children’s literature?
No, not at all!
In fact, I could name hundreds of children’s books involving cats and dogs, and even bears, but I can’t say I know any about porcupines! It’s a very cute animal! Haha go ahead and use it. Good luck with your story. =)
I think with all the news of toxic paint on toys and small objects that could cause choking hazzard is really getting out of hand! Sure a child’s saftey comes first! To us when we were raising kids a child’s safety meant keeping an eye on the child! I use to enjoy shopping for my Grand kids, but now it’s a pain in the BUTT! When it was my Grand childrens Birthday or Christmas time it was also a surprise for my daughter what I got my Grand children. Now, my daughter asks what I bought them so that she can look up everything on the internet to see if it has a good rating or if it has been recalled! It’s going too far and it makes alot of people panic! Hey didn’t we all have that favourite Teddy Bear who’s button eye would fall off and mom sewed it back on! I as a Grand parent and my parents as Great grand parents feel that todays young generation is brain washed with all the news articles and ratings on toys! It’s come down to giving gift certificates for them instead of a toy from us!
I agree with you. Parents today want to put their kids in a padded room, and the media feeds on the disaster stories. Our society is now very cynical, suspicious, and fearful. Not a good way to raise our children!
Tell the parents to butt out of your shopping decisions. Tell them they can research the toys online later after the kids open their presents. We can’t put American children in a bubble.

I’m a junior in high school and I’m currently doing the whole "college search" thing, and i was wondering if anyone here knows of any good colleges for an Early Childhood Education degree? i’m looking into Towson University, but i was wondering if anyone else has a different opinion.
Rowan University in NJ is well known for its teaching program (it was called "Glassboro State College" several years ago and was originally known specifically as a teacher’s college). It’s a great university! I am applying to a Master’s Degree Program there.
