I’m looking to go to school to in Associates in Early Childhood Education and then I can test for my CDA. How much does this usually cost. I know it varies from school to school and state but I just need an idea. It would be in Oklahoma though. thanks
I’ve contacted a school in my area already but I wanted to get an idea of the cost so I would know if this was reasonable or if I should look at another school
The cost of school tuition varies from school to school.
aside from that. Id recommend you to major in something else. (ie English, Biology, Criminal Justice, Math, etc. you name it!) because in order to be a teacher you need to have a bachelors in something it does not necessarily have to be "Early Childhood Education" plus lets say you majored in "Math or English" you have to take a test to see your strong and weak sides. If you got really high in Science, but you did not major in that, they give you that as a subject to teach. & if by any chance you do not like school you still have more options, not like if you major in earlychildhood, and you dont like it! Well you are SCREWED then!
Whenever I see a story in the news or around my community that a child has been hurt in some way (not accident, but purposely hurt by an adult) I get really emotional about it. Little kids are so innocent and for the most part happy and some things just totally destroy that. If it’s a teen I don’t feel as bad, but still. I always think, "oh my gosh that could’ve been MY kid" How about you?
I get so outraged. I feel so mad and sad at the same time, because when I look at my child I could never think about why anyone would do that to a child and what the child must feel like. The children are so innocent, thinking about people doing horrid things to them, just sets me off. I hate it. I wish it would stop, but I know it never will, which makes me even madder
This project was created to help Indigenous families in Quito who are living on the streets. At the center the families have a place to stay, and their kids can go to the childcare center or school. Wawa Wasi Kuillurkkuna is situated in the historic colonial center of Quito, where the view is amazing and the house is historic and very beautiful. Beside the childcare center and the hospedaje for the families, is an antique Indigenous church where people congregate for weddings, funerals and baptisms. Below the church lies the remains of the very famous Eugenio Espejo.

A plethora of opportunities are open if a person decides to go into the field of child development. Mostly teachers and other people involved in educational field are common examples of such people and sometimes also social workers. Patience is the key to having a good career in the field of development of children. Each and every child is special and not the same when it come to their needs and desires that have to be addressed. The next crucial skill needed is proper communication. People in this field must be able to very clearly make the point they are trying to convey in such a way that the child understands.
To be successful in this career, being creative and being able to properly nourish a child is vital. If the child’s mind is constantly thinking and not idle, it can avoid many troubles as an adult. An important part of learning for children comes from playing, hence it should be a frequent activity in their school. From the teachers side, activities drawing, painting, music and writing works and other projects will help keep the child occupied. Respect for other people and their things can be thought only via healthy interactions with other kids.
Besides just teaching, the teacher has to do a lot of physically straining activities, like lifting, running , carrying books, picking up scattered and harmful objects. All this is inclusive of both things needed for the job as well as for the child’s needs.
Generally salary for doing work related to children development will start from six or seven till fifteen dollars nearly for every hour and it depends on what work is needed and where is the work situated.
Some recent findings show that the other avenues available for these workers will be drawing teacher, psychologist , all kinds of therapists for children , in educational institutions to mention a few.

"A father was stopped from taking a photo of his son on a children’s train ride after an over-zealous security guard accused him of being a paedophile.
Kevin Geraghty-Shewan, 48, was approached by the guard after he took the picture of his four-year-old son Ben on the toy engine outside a shop.
He was then threatened with arrest after refusing to hand his mobile phone containing the picture after a row with a policeman.
Mr Geraghty-Shewan said: ‘Ben saw a children’s ride which had a train on it and wanted to have a go because he’s obsessed with trains.’
Moments later, he was apprehended by the security guard.
The father-of-one, who was in the North East visiting family, said: ‘He said "you can’t take pictures in here". I asked why and he told me it was because for all he knew I could be a paedophile.
‘I told him Ben Was my son. But he said I couldn’t prove it.
‘I couldn’t believe it. I walked away and then I thought about making a complaint.’
A few minutes later a police officer arrived at the Bridges Shopping Centre in Sunderland and threatened to delete the photograph.
‘They said I matched the description of a man who had been taking pictures,’ Mr Geraghty-Shewan said.
‘They took my details and said they had the right to remove the picture from my phone.
‘I got annoyed and things got heated, then he threatened me with arrest for breach of the peace.
‘Ben thought I was in trouble because he had sat on the ride and we didn’t put the money in.’
Mr Geraghty-Shewan was so annoyed by the incident he posted a picture of the security guard on his blog.
A spokesman for the Bridges Shopping Centre said: ‘We take the safety at all our shopping centres very seriously.
‘We do ask our security guards across the estate to be diligent in implementing our security measures, which includes monitoring photography in our centres.
‘Unfortunately on this occasion what should have been a simple polite conversation led to a misunderstanding and we apologise for any offence caused.
‘It is always our aim to implement our security procedures with the minimum of fuss and disruption to our shoppers.’
A spokesman for Northumbria Police said: ‘We received reports of a disagreement over a photo taken on the premises of a shopping centre. No offence took place.’"

Its just an excuse to clamp down on the british public, they are under a constant contraction of freedom and rights, its ironic that they have 20% of the worlds cctv cameras there, they can film you but you cant take a picture of your kid. They have all sorts of bizarre social controls in place. They use their anti terrorist laws to spy on their own public. Of course this sort of nonsense is cheered on and enforced by the likes of the security guard, feminists and other totalitarian state supporters.
Wiritng a term papaer on how children books look at the character of the loner or the outsider, do you know of any that deal with this kind of character?
You’re taking me back a ways, but I recall that Beverly Cleary did some great work on the outsider child. Particularly her Ramona books.
