But most authors WANT to be paid for their work. So unless the author, publisher, and sound crew agree to give it for free, it is stealing.
You can look at Librivox. It has volunteers reading out of copyrighted books. That would be legal.
Hi, there is a site in the web; u can find different stories for children from there.
I have found many audio books from there not only for children for adult and for teen as well.

Many of the books here are available in audio format. Do you know what children’s stories you’re looking for? Just look up the title or author. These are books in the public domain, so you won’t be stealing by downloading them for free.
