    Some trivia:

    There …
    Some trivia:

There was an episode of CSI that had a “crossover” with actors from Two and a Half Men. The hot lady that played Peg played a sitcom diva called Annabelle who treated her crew like crap. The man who wrote that episode and created Two and a Half Men is Chuck Lorre, who was a writer on Roseanne. If Peg was modeled on Roseanne Barr, then Annabelle was modeled on Roseanne as well (which means she was a to work with!)

    I love this show! …
I love this show! It was so cheerfully lowbrow and was refreshing in the face of the family sitcom crap that was being produced back in the day.

I don’t watch television alot these days. The only shows I bother with are Weeds, Dexter and Big Love.

Michael Moye is so right about Cosby. A husband doctor married to a wife attorney AND juggling a brood of 4 kids? I understand Cosby was trying to create a positive image to the black experience, but his portrayal was naive and condescending.

David Faustino is my 2nd cousin (my Dad’s cousin). I went to visit David and see a taping of the show. David, his girlfriend, Christina, and I went out after the taping to get some pizza. Christina is very smart, has a wonderful sense of humor, and very fun to hang out with. Not often you can brag about going on a “date” with Kelly Bundy:)

Please watch – The Phil Silvers show – have a watch of this episode to see the quick lines, sharp dialogue.. It is the only show that I feel that can match or better “Married with Children”. (*Please see details below):

Please search for this episode alone that was written in 1957 (Its on here on You tube) – called:

    “The Phil Silvers Show – Bilko’s perfect day…part 1.”

Its on You tube, an just see the comic genius of Phil Silvers. Please have a watch of it

I love MWC – its brilliant

It’s been awhile since I’ve seen the Phil Silver’s show, but I get what you mean. Mw/C is still 1 of the greatest (non)family sitcoms ever. As a writer, I’ve learned so much from it. Also, i was never anti-Cosby. (I still love The Cobsy Show, but both showed different p.o.v.’s about family life.)

  • robynsegg says:

    Still the best show …
Still the best show ever! Also, some of the unsung heroes are Al’s friends, Griff, Big Bob Rooney, Ike & Officer Dan! Officer Dan always cracked me up! He’s cop, sworn to uphold the law, but he still finds time to get dragged into Al’s shenanigans, just like Joe Swanson from Family Guy! lol!

I’m going to ask the questions. Was this the greatest American Situation Comedy ever to come out of the Usa. The Only one that can match up to it that I can think that can match it would be – “The Phil Silvers Show”.

Do you agree? Please give your comments. In my opinion i think that “Married with Children” ties with the Phil Silvers Show as the greatest comedy show that America has ever put out….

Please put your comments down here if you agree or disagree….Please????
