This project was created to help Indigenous families in Quito who are living on the streets. At the center the families have a place to stay, and their kids can go to the childcare center or school. Wawa Wasi Kuillurkkuna is situated in the historic colonial center of Quito, where the view is amazing and the house is historic and very beautiful. Beside the childcare center and the hospedaje for the families, is an antique Indigenous church where people congregate for weddings, funerals and baptisms. Below the church lies the remains of the very famous Eugenio Espejo.
